Registered Nurse (Grade 2)

Indicative Rate 50 - 60 p/h 


We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Registered Nurse who shares our values and who is passionate about empowering people with disability to achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations. 

This rewarding and varied role will involve a mix of Nursing related duties including catheter care, as well as Disability Support Work.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and hold current registration as a Registered Nurse;

  • A strong desire and passion to work with people with disability;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Report writing skills;

  • Possess a current ACT drivers license, a suitable car with Registration and Comprehensive Insurance;

  • Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance issued within the past 3 months;

  • Ability to obtain a current First Aid Certificate and current Working with Children check;

  • Ability to obtain a current NDIS Workers Screening Check;

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

Systems Engineer

NV1 Clearance Required

Indicative Rate 130 - 140 p/h

DSS level 3 - 4 

Specific Tasks for candidate's primary responsibility:
• The Systems Engineer is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve very complex systems engineering activities, requiring an in-depth knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
• They will exercise sound decision making and judgement to provide expert policy advice.
• They will have in-depth knowledge of the engineering function and are responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of plans, policies, and procedures relevant to their work.
• They will engage in very complex problem solving, technical risk and issues management and may coordinate and perform detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political, or operation
al outcomes for Defence.
• The Systems Engineer will engage with stakeholders, investigate systems engineering concepts, delivery and manage systems engineering specifications and resources in support of the Defence capability lifecycle. Investigate, analyse, and report on the systems engineering defects and requirements, develop and implement recommendations and advise to address issues.


Experience/Skills Sought:
As the successful candidate you will possess experience in the following:
• Experience or familiarity with CASG engineering life-cycle activities and planning.
• Experience or familiarity in Systems Engineering, preferably within the CASG / Defence environment supporting minor acquisition and/or sustainment of ICT systems.

• Experience or familiarity with configuration management activities preferably within a CASG / Defence environment under the TRAMM-L or LMSM framework.
• Experience authoring engineering specifications, plans and/or reports.
• Experience reviewing engineering and technical artefacts.
• Experience or familiarity with systems safety, security and managing technical risk.
• Demonstrated experience to coordinate and/or chair workshops in an independent manner.
• Ability to work under limited guidance demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
• Very strong written and oral communication skills.

Project Schedule Manager

NV1 Clearance Required

Indicative rate 120 p/h

DSS level 3 - 4

Specific Tasks for candidate's primary responsibility:

 Establish and manage performance measurement baselines

• Conduct variance reporting against baselines 

• Updating schedule progress in consultation with team leads and responsible parties 
• Reporting on schedule progress to project management and broader executive stakeholders 
• Identifying scheduling issues and recommending actions for remediation and resolution 
• Outputs of tasks will include: o Project Master Schedules 
• Work Breakdown Structures 
• Financial reports 
• WBS Dictionaries 
• Schedule reports 

Experience/Skills Sought:

As the successful candidate you will possess the following (experience and skill levels to be adapted based on level of candidate): 
• Advanced Understanding of and experience in schedule management, methodologies, and tools (Open Plan Professional) including experience with parent/child integrated schedules 
• Experiencing developing schedules for large acquisition Projects at various stages of the project lifecycle. 
• Understanding of and Experience with defence acquisition projects is essential 
• Understanding of and Experience with defence sustainment organisations would be beneficial 
• Advanced Understanding of and experience in the application of Project Controls 
• Understanding of, or experience in Project and/or Program Management would be beneficial 


Essential Qualification: 
• Schedule management professional accreditation or qualification for Open Plan Professional 

Highly Desirable: 
• formal qualification(s) in a field relevant to the execution and control of projects
